Dental implant treatment in clinic

Broken/Non Restorable Single Tooth

A Tooth that is missing can be replaced on the same day using the use of a dental implant immediately. Dr. Rushabh Doshi is often capable of performing implant procedures on the same day, thanks to our state-of-the-art laboratory.

Understanding the Dental Implant Process

A lot of patients are concerned that dental implants can be time-consuming, painful, and require long hours in the operating room. In reality, implant procedures are fast, convenient, and virtually pain-free.

Dr. Rushabh Doshi

Hi. I am Dr. Doshi. I earned my DMD with Honors from Boston University. While completing my fellowship in Implantology and my training in Sleep Apnea, I practiced for a few years in Massachusetts. My wife, Rini, and I moved to the warm city of DFW, Texas when we found out that we were having our beautiful baby girl Aarya Nemi and we have loved Texas ever since. Now we are proud parents of two wonderful kids.

We understand that going to the dentist may not have been the most pleasant experience for a lot of people. And that is why we strive to provide a comforting and relaxing experience for our patients. We like to make sure our patients are well-informed about their dental needs after their initial exam and are offered the best services and quality care with the most recent Advances in Dentistry. We work to address all their concerns and answer all their questions to the best of our ability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions DFW patients ask us most before booking a dental implant consultation.

How much do dental implants cost in DFW?

At SmileOn, a complete single dental implant including the titanium post, abutment, and zirconia crown runs $4,000 to $6,500 depending on your specific case. Full-arch All-on-X starts at $24,000 per arch. We give you an itemized written quote at the free consultation, with no surprises added later. Financing is available from $299/month with $0 down approval in 5 minutes.

Do I need to have a certain number of teeth missing?

No. Dental implants work for a single missing tooth, several missing teeth, or a full arch. The right treatment depends on how many teeth are involved, where they are, and what your bone looks like. Dr. Doshi will map out your specific options at the free consultation, including whether an implant is even necessary for your case, or if a simpler solution would work better.

Am I too old for dental implants?

Very rarely. Dr. Doshi has placed implants in patients from their late 20s to their late 80s. What matters is your general health, your bone volume, and your healing capacity, not your birthday. Many patients over 70 make excellent implant candidates and go on to enjoy their implants for decades. A 3D scan at your consultation gives us the real answer for your specific case.

What if I've been told I don't have enough bone?

This is the single most common reason patients delay getting implants, and it's often outdated advice. Modern techniques including bone grafting, All-on-4 (which uses angled implants to work with the bone you have), and zygomatic implants make treatment possible for the vast majority of patients previously told "no." About 90% of patients who've been rejected elsewhere turn out to be candidates when Dr. Doshi reviews the 3D scan.

Does dental insurance cover implants?

Most dental insurance covers 0–20% of implant procedures, much less than crowns, bridges, or dentures. Some plans cover the crown portion but not the implant itself. We verify your specific coverage at the consultation before any treatment is planned. HSA and FSA funds can be used, and financing through CareCredit, Cherry, Sunbit, or LendingClub covers what insurance doesn't.

What financing options do you offer?

Four dental-specific providers with $0 down and typical monthly payments starting at $299:

  • CareCredit — often 0% interest for 6–24 months
  • Sunbit — accessible for lower credit scores (from 450)
  • Cherry — soft credit check, no hard hit for pre-qualification
  • LendingClub — longer terms, competitive APR

Approval takes 5 minutes at the consultation. If one provider declines, another usually approves.

How long does the whole process take?

For a single implant: 3–6 months from consultation to final crown. The active visits total about 4–6 hours across 4–6 appointments; most of the timeline is healing time between visits, when nothing is happening in the office. For same-day options like All-on-4, you can walk out with a full set of fixed teeth in one surgical day, with the permanent bridge finalized 3–6 months later.

Do dental implants hurt?

Not during the procedure; you'll have local anesthesia or sedation and won't feel the surgery. Recovery involves 3–5 days of mild-to-moderate discomfort for most single-implant patients, managed with prescription pain medication for the first 24–48 hours and over-the-counter Tylenol/Advil after. Most patients say it's easier than they expected, closer to a wisdom tooth extraction than a "surgery."

What's the success rate?

Dr. Doshi's documented success rate is 97% across 3,000+ implants placed. Industry-wide, implants have a 95–97% success rate at 10 years, one of the highest of any medical procedure. Success depends on case selection, technique, and follow-up care. SmileOn warrants the surgical placement if an implant fails within the warranty period, the replacement is provided at no additional fixture cost.

Can I get implants if I have diabetes or other health conditions?

Most well-managed chronic conditions are compatible with dental implants, including controlled diabetes (A1c under 7), well-managed osteoporosis, treated high blood pressure, and most heart conditions. What matters is that the condition is stable and controlled, not the diagnosis itself. Dr. Doshi will review your health history and coordinate with your physician if needed before proceeding.

Where are your locations?

SmileOn Dental Implants operates across three convenient DFW locations:

  • 360 Dental Lounge — Mansfield, TX
  • Arlington Dental Lounge — Arlington, TX
  • Irving Family Dental — Irving, TX

Dr. Doshi practices at all three. Whichever is closest is where you should schedule. The clinical work and pricing are identical at each location.

What happens at the free consultation?

The 45–60-minute consultation includes: a 3D cone-beam CT scan (normally $300+), a clinical exam with Dr. Doshi, a personalized treatment plan, an itemized cost quote, insurance verification, and 5-minute financing pre-qualification across all four providers. There's no obligation to proceed and no pressure to decide that day. You leave with a written plan you can take home and review.
